O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus to direct the respondents to regularize the petitioners' occupation in Survey No.67/3, Thadanagam Village, Vachakarapatti Village Panchayat, Virudhunagar Taluk & District.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had made a representation as early as in the year 2015 seeking for regularizing his occupation of the aforesaid survey number as the same has not been considered. Hence, he has approached this Court by way of this writ petition.
3. Considering the relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition and that the representation has been made as early as in the year 2015, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the first respondent herein, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such representation, the first respondent shall pass appropriate orders, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.
4.With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
