This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to celebrate the Vinayagar Chathurthi Festival and to place the idol of Lord Vinayagar temporarily in the premises of Arulmigu Sri Vinayagar Temple, which is located in ward No-17, Keelapudur, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, which is to be scheduled from 07.09.2024 to 09.09.2024 based on the petitioner's representation, dated 30.08.2024 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.
2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the representation, dated 30.08.2024 given by the petitioner is pending before the second respondent. 2/4
4.Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 30.08.2024 and pass orders within two days from today.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
