ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the second respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.19 of 2024 dated 18.01.2024 on the file of the fourth respondent and entrust the same to the fifth respondent for further investigation or any other competent officer and file a final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate within the time period stipulated by this Court.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.19 of 2024 on 18.01.2024 for the offences under Sections 143, 294(b), 324, 452 and 506(2) IPC and Section 3(1) of TN Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992 against five named persons and some others, that after initial investigation, they found involvement of 37 accused, out of which, 4 accused were arrested and out of 5 victims, they have received medical records for one victim from Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Madurai and are awaiting for other victims medical records and that investigation is proceeding in proper direction.

3. Recording the same, the fourth respondent is directed to proceed with the investigation and the third respondent is directed to monitor the same. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 04.09.2024 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No csm 3/4
