Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents particularly, 2nd respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.09.2019, submitted to request them not to permit anyone to run the TASMAC bar in the petitioner's land in Survey No.120/2 bearing Patta No.1033 measuring about 5460 sq.ft vacant land situated at Sooranam Village, Ilayangudi Taluk, Sivagangai District within a time frame as fixed by this Court. ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner is said to be the owner of the petition mentioned property. He had originally given his consent for putting up the Tasmac Retail Outlet in the said site. Subsequently, the petitioner has withdrawn his consent. The petitioner has given representation dated 20.09.2019 to the second respondent in this regard. But without acting upon the said representation, the respondents are going ahead and intend to locate the Tasmac Retail Outlet in the petition mentioned site.

3.The learned counsel for the second respondent states that the second respondent has given personal hearing to the petitioner. But final orders are yet to be passed. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to pass orders on the petition mentioned representation within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4.The writ petition stands disposed of.

No costs.
