ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the 2nd respondent police to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and his properties on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.09.2019

2. It is seen that the third respondent filed suit in O.S.No.72 of 2010 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Aranthangi as against the petitioner. It is seen that the said suit was dismissed for default on 31.03.2016,therefore admittedly there is a dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent. On the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 13.09.2019, enquiry was conducted by the second respondent and the same was closed as civil in nature.

3. At this juncture, police protection cannot be granted. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy before the civil court in the manner known to law.
