PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.15 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police.
ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Sole Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 28.10.2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 9 of Child Marriage Restraint Act 1929 and Section 5(1)and (j)(ii) and Section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, in Crime No.15 of 2021, on the file respondent police, seeks bail.
2.The specific case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is aged about 26 years and the victim girl is aged about 14 years. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would further submit that in the statement recorded under Section 164 of Cr.P.C., the victim girl specifically stated that the marriage between herself and the petitioner was conducted in Jamath and that she is having a six months old baby.

CRL OP(MD). No.18433 of 2021 3.Considering the above facts and the seriousness and gravity of the offences alleged and also the fact that the investigation is not yet completed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
