ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer to review the award passed by him under Section 11 of the Land Acquisition Act on 07.04.1992.

2. The 3rd respondent is not vested with the power of review and once an award is passed, he becomes functus officio.

3. In case, if the petitioner is aggrieved over the quantum of compensation fixed by the 3rd respondent herein, he is always at liberty to seek for reference under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act. 2/4

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petitions stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
