ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to issue correlation certificate in respect of the lands bearing Zameen Pimash Nos.1965, 2293 and 2123, which were purchased by the petitioner's grandfather, Kondureddiyar under a registered sale deed dated 14.11.1920.

2.Heard the arguments of Mr.E.Satheesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that he submitted a representation

on 05.07.2025 before the respondents seeking issuance of correlation certificate in respect of the lands bearing Zameen Pimash Nos.1965, 2293 and 2123. The same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law. It is also stated that the correlation register is maintained by the second respondent.

5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
