This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to grant 28 days ordinary leave without police escort to the petitioner's husband namely Ilavarasan, S/o.Muniyappan, life convict prisoner, bearing convict prisoner No.23167, PID No.196804 confined at Central Prison, Trichy, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2025. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstance of the case and the limited relief sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 16.06.2025 strictly in accordance with

law and take a decision within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
