ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the third respondent police herein to give police protection on the basis of the representation made on 09.09.2022.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that he purchased the property in S.Nos.67/2, 67/3 and 68B situated at Vellur Pudhukudi Village, Srivaikundam Taluk, Thoothukudi District from one Mohammed Farooq, who is residing in Chennai. Before this purchase made by the petitioner, the land was leased out to the fourth respondent herein. After the lease period was over, the property was purchased by the petitioner. After the purchase, the petitioner went to the property for fencing it. At that time, the fourth respondent made trouble and also caused damage to the fence and also to some trees. Therefore, the present complaint has been made and the same has been registered in C.S.R.No.682 of 2022. But no action had been taken. Thereafter also, the fourth respondent threatened the petitioner with deadly weapons and hence, the petitioner made another complaint in C.S.R.No.735 of 2022. That was also not considered properly. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted and in the enquiry, both the parties have appeared and the fourth respondent had also given an undertaking that he will resolve the dispute through civil process, which was also accepted by the petitioner herein. Hence, the complaints given by the petitioner were closed by directing the parties to workout their remedy through civil process.

4. In view of the above submission, nothing remains to be adjudicated in this matter. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 29.09.2022 Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes/No ta 3/4
