ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of property situated in Survey No.270/11 with an extent of 0.01.24 ares, in Kalaiyur Village , Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering his representation dated 17.07.2025.
2.Heard the arguments of Mr.P.Ranjithkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he has been in possession and enjoyment of the subject property for more than 45 years. Based on his long possession and enjoyment, he submitted a representation before the respondents seeking issuance of patta in his name. The same has not
been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court. 4.A perusal of the typed set of papers would indicate that Natham Nilavari Thitta Chitta for the subject property stands in the name of the Telecommunication Department. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner had permitted the Telecommunication Department to erect a telecommunication tower in the subject property. However, the same was erected in an adjacent property. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the Telecommunication Department. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
