Prayer : Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to initiate contempt proceedings under section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971, against the Respondents herein for their willful disobedience to the order passed by this Honourable Court in W.P.(MD).No 12280 of 2018 order dated 11.01.2019 and punish them accordingly. The contempt is complained of the order dated 11.01.2019 made in W.P.(MD)No 12280 of 2018.

The said order has merged with the judgment in W.A(MD)No.1251 of 2019 dated 18.06.2024. The operative portion of the judgment made in W.A(MD)No.1251 of 2019 reads as follows:
''6. Accordingly, this Writ Appeal is dismissed with a direction to the appellants to consider the respondent/writ petitioner's case for appointment on compassionate grounds in terms of G.O.Ms.No.33, Labour Welfare and Skill Development (Q1) Department, dated 08.03.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.''

The 4th respondent has considered the representation of the petitioner in terms of G.O.Ms.No.33, Labour Welfare and Skill Development (Q1) Department, dated 08.03.2023 and rejected it by order dated 14.08.2024 on the ground that it is time barred. The said proceedings are not under challenge. Leaving it open to the petitioner either to approach the Division Bench or to challenge the order dated 14.08.2024, the Contempt Petition is dismissed.
