O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. by the petitioner / defacto complainant seeking for a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.222 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 294 (b), 323, 324 and 506 (2) of I.P.C. as expeditiously as possible and file the final report.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, on a complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered FIR in Crime No. 222 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 294 (b), 323, 324 and 506 (2) of I.P.C. on 27.06.2022 and submitted further that, in spite of registration of FIR, no substantial progress in the investigation, thereby, sought for suitable directions.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on the other hand, submits that, investigation is progressing in a right direction and requested short time for completion of the investigation and for filing the final report. 2/4

In view of the submissions made by both sides, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.222 of 2022 and file a final report before the concerned Court as expeditiously as possible not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
