ORDER
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.385 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli.
2. Considering the fact that the major offence involved in this case is 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code, and the fact that the quarrel happened when the restaurant was being run by the defacto complainant, I am of the view that this is a fit case to exercise the inherent power of this Court under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as the allegations are private in nature between the parties.
3. The parties are present before the Court. This Court enquired the parties about the compromise, and they have also understood the import of the compromise.

4. In view thereof, since it is seen from the nature of the allegations that this is a fit case to be quashed on compromise, the proceedings, in C.C.No.385 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Tirunelveli, shall stand quashed.
