Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the proceedings of the first respondent in Roc.PA/Confdl/04/2002 dated 30.08.2013 placing the petitioner under suspension from service with immediate effect and the proceedings of the first respondent in Roc.PA/Confdl/04/2002 dated 31.08.2013 not permitting the petitioner to retire on reaching the date of superannuation on 31.08.2013 and quash the same and consequently to direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to retire from service with effect from 31.08.2013 with all consequential service and other monetary benefits.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the present writ petition is filed challenging the order of suspension and retaining the services of the writ petitioner by not allowing him to retire from service.
2.However, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the writ petitioner was convicted in the criminal case filed against the department of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption in C.C.No.2 of 2002, under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1998. 3.In view of the fact that the writ petitioner was convicted, no further consideration is required in respect of the grounds https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
