PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents more specifically the 4th respondent to implement the orders of the 3rd respondent dated 14.09.2021 to remove the encroachments on the road in S.No.499 on the S.Ayyampalayam Village of Manachanallur Taluk of Trichy District and consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2023 within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.) It is brought to the notice of this Court that in respect of the subject property, W.P.(MD).No.23501 of 2023 was filed challenging the order dated 04.09.2023 issued by the President, Ayyampalayam Panchayat, Manachanallur Panchayat Union, Trichy District and the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court passed an order on 27.09.2023, granting liberty to the

Tahsildar, Manachanallur Taluk, Trichy District to conduct survey in the subject land and initiate all appropriate actions. In compliance with the orders of this Court, the competent authority issued notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 made a submission that the authorities have already initiated action and they are in the process of completing the proceedings.

3. In view of the order dated 27.09.2023 passed in W.P.(MD). No.23501 of 2023, no further orders are required in respect of the relief as such sought for in the present Writ Petition.
