ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner is a resident of Krishnarayapuram. She was also Exward counsellor. The local body had passed a resolution calling upon the Government to handover the petition mentioned land for public purpose. The petitioner wants this Court to direct the revenue to act in terms of the said resolution.

3. The land in question belongs to the Government. It may not open to the writ Court to issue any such direction as sought for.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader also pointed out that in this regard O.S.No.305 of 2021 has been filed on the file of District Munsif Court, Krishnarayapuram, Karur.

5. I request the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Krishnarayapuram, Karur to expeditiously dispose of the said suit on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
