Contemnor / Respondent PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act to punish the contemnor/respondent for having willfully and deliberately disobeyed the order of this Court dated 16.04.2021 passed in W.P.(MD).No.7878/2021 as per the provisions of the Contempt of Court Act.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus by directing the respondent to conduct enquiry for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner on the basis of her application dt 31.10.2020 submitted by her to the respondent inrespect of house bearing door no.3/343-2 comprised in old S.No.297/1, Now UDR S.No.267/3, 267/4, measuring about 1222 sq.ft situated at Thenur II bit village, Madurai North Tk, Madurai Dt, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honble court and to pass any other or such other order as this Honble Court may deem fit in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice. Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent.

2. It is stated that an inquiry has been conducted and an order has also been passed. Now, the onus is on the petitioner to pay necessary charges and if necessary charges are paid, the order passed by the respondent will be complied with and hopefully the petitioner's grievance would be addressed in a positive manner. But the onus is on the petitioner to pay necessary charges for grant of patta or for change of patta. The learned Special Government Pleader may forward a copy of the order passed by the respondent to the learned counsel for the petitioner also.

3. The Contempt Petition need not be kept pending. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
