When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that already on the rejection made by the Revenue Divisional Officer, the petitioner has filed a Review Petition before the District Collector, Sivagangai and the same is pending. 3/5

Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's Review Petition dated 25.08.2022, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
