Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.10.2021 for Survey No.112/5B1A, Sarkarai Kottai Village, Sarkarai Group, Vellipattinam, Ramanathapuram which extent to 6540 Square feet and fix the boundaries within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner had purchased the property measuring 6540 Square feet in Survey No.112/5B1A in Sarkarai Kottai Village, Sarkarai Group, Vellipattinam in Ramanathapuram District by a registered sale deed dated 05.03.2009.

2. The petitioner had also obtained patta and the name is also reflected in 'A' Register. The petitioner now wants the land to be surveyed. In this connection, he had given a representation on 08.10.2021.

3. The only statement made by Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Counsel, who took notice on behalf of the respondents is that the fees paid by the petitioner is inadequate and that a further sum has to be paid by the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Let the petitioner approach the second respondent / 1/2

W.P(MD)No.21072 of 2021 the Tahsildar and get necessary information as to the actual amount of fees to be paid and pay the balance fees and thereafter also forward a copy of this particular order. On receipt of the same, a direction is given to the second respondent / the Tahsildar with the help of the Surveyor to conduct the survey of the lands of the petitioner and at any rate, complete the said exercise within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date when the further fees is paid and intimated to the second respondent / the Tahsildar.

5. With the said observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
