ORDER

The petitioner claims that as against the order dated 09.03.2023, passed by the second respondent/the District Registrar, Madurai, under Section 77A of the Registration Act, cancelling the document registered in his favour, he has preferred an appeal before the first respondent, on 12.05.2023. Since the said appeal has not been taken up for hearing, he has filed this writ petition.

2. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent 2/4

to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner on 12.05.2023 and dispose of the same, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
