Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner is a self-help group. Their demand is that the respondent municipality must allot the petition mentioned shops in their favour under the Swarna Jayanthi Sagar Rozkar Yojana Scheme (SJSRY). The petitioner felt aggrieved by the tender cum auction notification issued by the respondent.

3. The local body owns the petition mentioned shops. Its aim obviously must be to maximise the revenue. Only through tender cum auction, the shops can fetch the rent at the market value. The petitioner has no legal right as such. In any event due to shear lapse of time, the matter also must have become infructuous.
