ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to initiate action and annul certain documents on the basis of Circular No.67, dated 03.11.2011.
2. The said circular has already been withdrawn by the Government. However, the Registration Act has already been amended, incorporating Section 22-B, empowering the registering authorities to refuse to register of forged documents and other documents prohibited by law. There is also an amendment under Section 77-A empowering the authorities for cancellation of the already registered documents under certain circumstances. The mandmus sought for in the present writ petition based on Circular No.67 cannot be granted. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the respondent authorities for initiating action under amended Registration Act.

3. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
