This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police to take action on the representation given by the petitioner dated 16.08.2023 against the unofficial respondents 3 to 6.

2. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the official respondents submits that basing on a complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was conducted and subsequently, after enquiry, a case has been registered against the respondents 3 to 6 in Crime No.361 of 2023 for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b) and 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act.

3. Since the Police have taken action as sought for by the petitioner and a case has already been registered against the respondents 3 to 6, this Writ Petition becomes infructuous. 2/4

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
