O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.08.2023 and to assess property tax to the petitioner's house.

2. Heard the parties appearing for either side. With their consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader on instructions from the respondents submitted that the petitioner has not submitted "completion certificate". Moreover, there are some encroachments by the petitioner on the 2/5

road and the petitioner has violated the building rules as well.

4. Therefore, this court is not inclined to opine anything on merits. The respondents shall consider the petitioner's application in accordance to law and pass a speaking order, after issuing notice and after granting personal hearing to the petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
