Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, by directing the respondents 1 to 6 to convene a peace committee meeting before granting any permission in respect of the proposed Kumbabishegam of Sri Sakthi Mariamman Temple, situated at Puthupalayam Village, Indira Nagar, Rajapalayam Taluk, Virudhunagar District and to restrain the respondents 7 to 11 from conducting temple Kumbabishegam scheduled to be held on 10.12.2021 and also the prevailing situation and the peace and harmony in the village and the interest of the residents of the Indira Nagar, K.R.Nagar Post, Narimedu, Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar District, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 22.11.2021. ORDER

The filing of this Writ Petition is only to convene any peace committee meeting which should be held as requested by the petitioner herein.

2. Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader states that a peace committee meeting is scheduled to be held on 26.11.2021. Let all the parties attend the peace committee meeting. The Writ Petition is disposed of, since, it has been filed more to deter any decision being taken in the peace committee meeting. Let the peace committee meeting go on.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
