ORDER
The petitioner had submitted a representation to the second respondent on 02.04.2014, seeking issuance of patta for the land in Survey No.216/1 situated at K.Paramathi Village, Aravakurich Taluk. Since there was no response, she had submitted another representation dated 22.04.2014 to the first respondent, who in turn directed the second respondent to take action on her application, vide his proceedings in O.Mu.No.1312/2014(A4) dated 08.05.2014. Thereafter, Aravakurichi Taluk was bifurcated and a new Taluk, namely, Pugalur Taluk was created. Therefore, she once again submitted a representation dated 08.08.2023 to the third respondent stating all those facts and seeking for issuance of patta in her name. However, there was no response. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
2. Mr.P.T.Thiraviam, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents, based on the 'A' register, submits that the 2/5
land in Survey No.216/1 is a temple land it stands in the name of Munnur Maragatheeswarar Kovil and therefore, patta cannot be granted in the petitioner's name.

Considering the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 08.08.2023 is lying with the 3rd respondent, the 3rd respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 08.08.2023 on its merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, enabling the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
