ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a retired employee of the respondent Transport Corporation seeking payment of interest for the belated disbursement of the terminal benefits.

2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner retired on 31.05.2023 and the terminal benefits were released on 10.03.2025. Seeking interest for the belated disbursement, the petitioner has sent a representation on 27.06.2025. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondents are directed to pay 6% interest from the due date till the date of disbursement, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
