For Petitioner : Mr.K.Arunraj For R1 to R-3 : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh, Government Advocate(Criminal Side) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of a complaint given by unofficial respondent Nos.4 and 5.
2. According to the petitioner, he has purchased a house property in the auction conducted by the Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation Limited by spending about Rs.1,00,03,000/- and he has taken a possession and the sale deed was also executed. It is submitted further that, the unofficial respondent Nos.4 and 5, who are original owners, committed default, has filed a false complaint before the respondent Police, basing on which, the petitioner is harassing. Therefore, sought for suitable directions.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on the other hand, submits that, the complaint filed by respondent Nos.4 and 5 is pending and that 2/4
the petitioner during the course of enquiry, has presented and shown all the papers stating that, he is an auction purchaser and accordingly, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that, the respondent Police are about to close the representation.
5. In view of the submissions made by the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this petition is disposed of, directing the respondent Police to complete the enquiry and close the complaint of the third and fourth respondents as quickly as possible not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
