O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner in respect of an enquiry into the death of the petitioner's friend, by name Vasuthevan, as the petitioner has been working in Thiruppur as Costume Designer.

2.It is submitted that the police have been persistently calling the petitioner for enquiry in respect of death of the petitioner's friend and even though he appeared before the police, he has been called again and again and since he is working at long distance, it causes inconvenience to him and therefore, sought for suitable directions.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that as per the intelligence received by the police, the police are suspecting there there is a possibility of committing the murder and in that context, the petitioner has been calling for enquiry.

4.In view of the above, this Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to appear before the police as and when he is asked to appear for enquiry and the respondent police are directed to follow the procedure, in case if any enquiry is taken up seeking the presence of the petitioner.
