PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass final rders on the petitioner statutory application dated 10.07.2023 made under Section 10 of Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983, seeking mutation of patta entries in favour of the petitioner within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

The petitioner has submitted a representation for grant of patta for his land in Survey No.366/1A1A, Tiruparankundram Village, Tiruparankundram Taluk, Madurai and has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus, directing the respondents to pass orders on his representation.
2.Mrs.D.Farjana Ghoushia, learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent submits that the application for grant of patta has now been entertained only through online. If the petitioner submits his application through online along with all necessary documents, the same would be considered within a reasonable time.
3.Considering the rival submissions made, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to submit his application through online along with the necessary documents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of 2/4
