ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The case of the petitioner is that her brother K.Palaniyandi was employed as Headman and that he died without leaving behind any issue. His wife had also predeceased him. The petitioner claims that she is the sole surviving legal heir of the deceased employee and that she is entitled to the benefits payable to the deceased Palaniyandi. In this regard, a representation dated 27.10.2021 has been submitted to the respondents herein. The second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the second respondent to pass orders one way or the other.
