O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed by the Councilor of the 15th ward seeking mandamus directing the first respondent to conduct an enquiry based upon his complaint dated 21.07.2023.

2. A perusal of the representation reveals that the petitioner has raised several allegations as against the fourth respondent, who is the Chairman of the concerned town panchayat.

3. When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Additional Advocate General brought to the notice of the Court that the said complaint has been withdrawn by the writ petitioner. However, it is disputed by the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner.

4. Without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner dated 21.07.2023 and pass orders after giving an opportunity to the writ petitioner and the fourth respondent. This exercise shall be completed within eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
