O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on a complaint given by the third respondent.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the third respondent, who is the wife of the petitioner, has filed a complaint against the petitioner, basing on which, the respondents Police have been harassing the petitioner. According to the petitioner, both the petitioner and the third respondent have settled the disputes and in spite of which, the respondents Police have been harassing the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents Police submits that basing on a complaint given by the third respondent, the respondents Police have registered the same as C.S.R.No.268 of 2023 and during the course of enquiry, the third respondent has reported that the dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent has already been settled and accordingly, the enquiry in C.S.R.No.268 of 2023 was closed on 25.08.2023. 2/4

4. Since no enquiry is pending against the petitioner on the complaint given by the third respondent, no further directions can be issued in this petition.
