Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to survey the land belongs to the petitioner's land in S.Nos.125, 127 situated at Kovilpathu Village Budalur Taluk, Thanjavur District and S.No.254/2 situated at Budalur Village, Budalur Taluk, Thanjavur District on the basis of the representation of the petitioner, dated 30.08.2024 within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is nothing but an abuse of the provisions of Article 226 of the Constitution of India.

2. This petitioner has filed the present writ petition for a mandamus for surveying the land belongs to the petitioner on the basis of an application which has been filed only on 30.08.2024. The petitioner without even giving time to the respondents to sequence his application along with other pending applications, has rushed to Court stating that no action has been taken on the side of the respondents. Such kind of writ petitions have to be deprecated and should not be entertained.

3. Therefore, this Writ Petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to renew his request at the appropriate time. No costs. 06.09.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes gbg
