The present Writ Petition has been filed by an aspirant to the post of Assistant Geologist in Ground water wing of Water Resources Department. The petitioner was not successful in the selection. Doubting the results published by the respondent herein he had filed the writ petition seeking a Mandamus directing the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission to produce the petitioner's Computer Based Test Response Sheet along with the petitioner's recorded mouse activities from the server. The petitioner further prayed for a Mandamus to call the petitioner for counselling based upon the marks secured in the examination.
2. Pending writ petition, the respondent Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has provided the petitioner, the Computer Based Test Response Sheet. However, recorded mouse activities from the server were not provided. After this Court had insisted upon the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, recorded mouse activities from the server has been provided to 2/4
the writ petitioner. However, it is the contention of the writ petitioner that the video recording should be provided.
3. This Court is of the opinion that it is for the petitioner to go through the recorded mouse activities from the server provided to the petitioner and to find out in what manner he is entertaining doubt for calling for video recording. That apart, as per the Notification, the mouse activities are not recorded as a video. In such circumstances, the request of the petitioner cannot be considered.
4.With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
