ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file the final report within the time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, the case in Crime No.234 of 2017 was 1/4

registered, on 10.11.2017 under Sections 341, 294(b), 323, 506(2) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. After that, there is no progress in that complaint. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the investigation was made and the final was also filed after completing the formalities before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Bodinayakanuyr. The learned Magistrate also had taken cognizance of the same. In the Lok Adalat, on the basis of the admission made by the accused persons, it was closed by imposing a sum of Rs.500/- as fine.

4.It is seen that the final report has already been filed and the same was also disposed of in the lok adalat. Since the matter was already disposed of, now the remedy available to the petitioner is to workout his grievance through appropriate proceedings. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of as infructuous. 28.09.2022 ta 2/4
