PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned FIR in Crime No.187 of 2021 pending on the file of the Moondradaippu Police Station, Tirunelveli District and quash the same.

For petitioners : Mr.A.Karthik For R-1 : Mr.B.Nambiselvan, Additional Public Prosecutor O RDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash FIR in Crime No.187 of 2021 pending on the file of the Moondradaippu Police Station, Tirunelveli District for the offence punishable under Sections 419, 420, 427, 467 and 471 IPC r/w Section 3(1)(g) of the Scheduled Caste and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015, insofar as the petitioners are concerned.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that during the pendency of this petition, the petitioners and the defacto complainant have entered into a compromise and they are ready to file a compromise memo before the concerned Investigating Officer.

3. The learned Additional Public Proseuctor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the compensation amount which was received by the victim has to be refunded before the concerned Government Authorities.

4. In view of the above, the petitioners are directed to file a compromise memo before the concerned Investigating Officer and the concerned Police is directed to close the case as "Action Dropped" after filing of the compromise memo by both the parties. The victim / third respondent is directed to refund the compensation received by her from the concerned Government Authorities.

5. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
