PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct an impartial enquiry against the fifth respondent and to take necessary action based on the petitioner representation dated 30.03.2015 within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct an impartial enquiry against the fifth respondent and to take necessary action, based on the petitioner representation dated 30.03.2015.

2. Heard Mr.B.Jameel Arasu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.R.M.S.Sethuraman, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.A.Balaji, learned counsel appearing for the fifth respondent.

3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the fifth respondent had retired from service as early as on 30.10.2015. Hence, there is no purpose in issuing Mandamus as prayed for in this Writ Petition. The petitioner is at liberty to workout her remedy, if she has any grievance in future.

4. In view of the above said observation, this Writ Petition is dismissed, with the above said liberty. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 22.02.2023 NCC: Yes / No Index :
