O R D E R

This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to take appropriate action in CSR No.619/2022 on the file of the 2nd respondent police. 2.The grievance of the petitioner is that in respect of the above said registration of CSR, no proper action has been taken sofar. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that there is dispute between the petitioner and one broker namely, Maitheenkani with regard to receiving sale consideration, which was executed by the petitioner. Both parties appeared before the Enquiry Officer and the accused person gave statement to the effect that he will settle the entire amount. Towards settlement of the above said due, he has also issued two cheques. But, those two cheques were found to be fake since signature in those cheques are different. On that ground, the investigation is pending.

4.Since action has been initiated by the second respondent, enquiry is underway and forgery is also been came to light, it will take some time 2/4

to complete the process of enquiry. The second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry with reasonable time. Depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, the petitioner may take further action. 5.With the above direction and liberty, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
