For Petitioner :Mr.R.Alagumani For R1 to R3 :Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh Government Advocate (crl.side) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondent police to provide protection from the unofficial respondent Nos.4 and 5. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel that there is a dispute in respect of purchase of the property from the unofficial respondent Nos.4 and 5 and respondent No.4, who has received Rs.5,00,000/- earlier, has agreed to give the same back to the petitioner. On a complaint given by the petitioner, originally CSR.No.110 of 2023 was filed and after enquiry, CSR.No.110 of 2023 was closed, wherein the unofficial respondent No.4 has agreed to pay an amount of Rs.5,00,000/- after selling the properties to third parties. It is submitted further that now instead of giving Rs.5,00,000/- as agreed, the unofficial respondent No.4 has threatened the petitioner and therefore, sought for suitable directions. 2/5

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the enquiry in respect of the present complaint given by the petitioner is pending as CSR.No.145 of 2023 and the petitioner and the unofficial respondent Nos.4 and 5 are not cooperating for enquiry. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) requested short time, so that the police will complete the enquiry and close the petition, in case if the dispute is purely civil in nature. 4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and on perusal of the records, the respondent police are directed to complete the enquiry in respect of CSR.No.145 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible, not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, this Petition is disposed of.
