When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that a representation submitted by the petitioner with regard to his promotion has already been considered by the respondents and orders have been passed and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and this petition has become infructuous. He also made an endorsement to that effect.

2.Recording the above submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
