ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 not to erect any electric pole in old Survey No.300/2 New Survey No.860/19 at A.Vellodu Village, Dindigul Taluk, Dindigul District till the disposal of the civil suit in O.S.No.348 of 2013 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Dindigul.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the survey number in dispute is used as a pathway by the petitioner. In case, if an electric pole is erected, the access through the said pathway would get affected. Hence, the present writ petition.

According to the learned standing counsel for the respondents 1 and 2, now poles have been erected in Survey No.860/17, which is a Government Poramboke and service connection has already been effected to the sixth respondent herein. Since the service connection has already been effected without disturbing Survey No.860/19, I find that no further orders are required in the writ petition.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. 20.10.2022 Index :
