: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to celebrate the Vinayagar Chaturthi festival and to place the idol of lord Vinayagar temporarily in the premised of Arulmigu Sri Vinayagar Temple which is located in A.Bharathi Nagar, Singampurani North, Singampunati, Sivagangai District, which is to be scheduled from 07.09.2024 to 09.09.2024 based on the petitioner's representation, dated 02.09.2024 within time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to celebrate the Vinayagar Chaturthi festival and to place the idol of lord Vinayagar temporarily in the premised of Arulmigu Sri Vinayagar Temple which is located in A.Bharathi Nagar, Singampurani North, Singampunati, Sivagangai District, which is to be scheduled from 07.09.2024 to 09.09.2024 based on the petitioner's representation, dated 02.09.2024 within time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner has not given any particulars about the immersion of the idol. 2/4

4. Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioner is directed to give fresh representation by furnishing the particulars about the immersion and on receipt of the same, the the second respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders within a period of two days from the date of receipt of the representation from the petitioner.

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
