ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents to grant permission to conduct kumbabisekam festival of Muthalamamman Temple to be held on 15.09.2024 by considering the writ petitioner's representation dated 22.08.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that "Kumbabisekam festival" of Muthalamamman Temple is going to be held on 15.09.2024 and in order to conduct the same, they sought permission by giving a representation dated 22.08.2024 before the 2/4

respondents and that since no order has been passed till now, the writ petitioner was constrained to approach this Court.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the writ petitioner as well as the rival group headed by one Bose had appeared before the third respondent and both of them have given consent for smooth conducting of kumbabisekam festival of Muthalamamman Temple and that the respondent police are ready to give police protection.
