PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the communication dated 26.02.2013 made in Lr.No.SE/MEDC/Metro/MDU/Adm.1/A2/HBA/D 00975/13 passed by the first Respondent in so far as presenting of the cancellation of mortgage deed before the second respondent by the said Basheer, Commercial Inspector, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (now removed from service) son of Nagoor and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to permit the Petitioner herself to present the cancellation of mortgage deed before the second respondent in pursuance of the Lr.No.SE/MEDC/Metro/MDU/Adm.

1/A2/HBA/D 00975/13 passed by the First Respondent and consequently to direct the Second Respondent to cancel the mortgage which is registered in the office of the Second Respondent vide document No.1364 of 02.07.1993 and further direct the First Respondent to return all original documents that are presented before him at the time of availing of the building loan by the said Basheer in respect of the property bearing Plot No.16, in Survey no.41/2 situated at Karadipatti Village, Madurai Taluk, Madurai District.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition and he has also circulated a letter dated 22.06.2020 to that effect, which is placed on record. 2.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. No costs.
