[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment made by the fourth respondent in S.No.118, Vilar Road, Pudupattinam Revenue Village, Thanjavur Town, so as to enable the general public to have right of access to the said road, within a time frame.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no more and hence, this Writ Petition may be closed.

3. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the encroachments pointed out by the petitioner have already been removed.

4. Recording the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
