ORDER

This contempt petition is filed that the order of this Court in W.P(MD). No.21792 of 2018 dated 26.03.2024 has not been complied with.

2. The petitioner has approached this Court seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Tahsildar to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.20218, by considering the compromise decree passed in O.S.No.13 of 2015 on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Natham.

3. Considering the rival submissions made, this Court disposed of the writ petition on 26.03.2024 and the relevant paragraph is extracted hereunder:

"Considering the rival submissions made and also considering the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the respondent on 14.04.2024 along with the required documents and the respondent 2/4

shall consider the same and pass suitable orders within a period of eight weeks from thereon."

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent by referring to the proceedings of the Tahsildar dated 29.01.2018 submits that the representation of the writ petitioner was considered and patta has also been issued to the petitioner.

5. Considering the relief granted in the writ petition, this Contempt Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
