O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to provide adequate police protection by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.08.2024.
2. Mr.M.Muthu Manikkam, learned Government Advocate (Civil Side) takes notice for the respondents 1, 4 and 5. Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the 2/4
respondents 2 and3. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Civil Side) appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner's representation, dated 16.08.2024, is pending before the fifth respondent for consideration.
4. Considering the above and taking note of the rival claims, the fifth respondent is directed to convene a peace committee meeting by giving notice to all the parties concerned and take a decision on or before 12.09.2024 in accordance with law.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
