This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to forthwith taken action on the representation dated 26.04.2018 and grant Police protection to the petitioner enabling the petitioner to fence the land of an extent of 14 acres, Patta No.97 in Survey No.545/1, Kottaiyur Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangail District.

2. It is seen that the petitioner preferred a representation on 26.04.2018, to the respondents seeking Police protection. Due to lapse of one year, such the prayer cannot be considered.

3. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint on a fresh cause of action before the concerned Police. On receipt of the same, the concerned Police is directed to consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.
